Lobster Co is a design praxis collaboration between a designer and an artist based in Islamabad. This duo is living, working and playing in multidisciplinary media, from tea to text. Since 2011, they have been teaching at the School of Art Design & Architecture, National University of Sciences & Technology, Islamabad. And hence most of their exploration in academia on this site is project-based interaction with students.

Hurmat Ul Ain is an interdisciplinary artist and art educationist. Her work is performative in nature and deals with concerns of relationship of body, food, hospitality and service. She has a BFA from National College of Arts in Painting (2006) and an MFA in Performance Art from School of Art Institute Chicago (2011) where she was visiting as a Fulbright Scholar. Her work has been shown in the U.S, U.K, India, Dubai, Japan, China and Pakistan. Sabahat Nawaz is a designer and an educationist. Her work investigates contemporary ideas of space. She is interested in exploring what these spaces are capable of producing and privatizing. Through this she is redefining the role of the designer as a social, critical, and political negotiator within space. She has a B.Des in Textile Design from National College of Arts Lahore,  and a Masters in Design for Textile Futures from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She has done a one-year placement as Academic Visitor in the School of Material, Royal College of Art, London. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
